Former Sportingbet CEO McIver joins Chroma
Andrew McIver to advise the sports solutions provider on its international expansion and financial organisation
Digital sports solutions provider Chroma Sports has appointed former Sportingbet CEO Andrew McIver a non-executive director in one of his first official roles since leaving the operator in 2013.
In his new role at the London-headquartered firm, McIver will oversee and serve as an advisor to Chroma’s efforts to expand its business internationally.
“Using my international experience I’ll help develop the company’s global strategy, which is already in rude health thanks to strong partnerships including News Australia, The Jockey Club, RMG and more,” he said.
McIver worked as CEO of Sportingbet for seven years, during which time he oversaw the operator’s expansion into new markets and the £480m sale of the company to William Hill and GVC.
“Andy McIver is an important figure in the world of betting, gaming and business and it’s a real coup for us to land someone of his calibre,” Paddy O’Clery, Chroma Sports CEO, said.
“We’re already delivering exciting digital sports and gaming innovations in the UK and Australia, but his appointment puts us in an even stronger position to grow globally,” he added.
Chroma Sports was founded in 2007 and provides various digital sports products including fantasy games, predictor games, sports data and mobile applications.
