Totesport.com receives mobile makeover
Betfred-owned brand launches new mobile platform after teaming up with digital design agency Degree53
Totesport.com has completed a major overhaul of its mobile betting platform after fully integrating its flagship totepool product with its GTECH-powered sportsbook betting service.
The new platform, which was designed in conjunction with digital design agency Degree53, was officially launched yesterday along with its new tagline âGet your heart racing!â
Totesport.comâs previous mobile product only offered horse racing and a limited number of totepool bets, however the new mobile service now includes a full sportsbook plus its complete suite of totepool betting opportunities.
âItâs been a record breaking year for bets like the Scoop6 so we wanted to make sure we only enhanced the customers experience on the mobile,â Andy Porter, totesport.com digital operations manager, told sister publication eGaming Review.
âFor the first time we also have a full sportsbook, so you can now get involved in the placepot and back your favourite football team while on the go,â he added.
The new platform offers customers a new two-click bet function, a quicker and simpler navigation system, as well as a faster a depositing process.
The mobile platform is also set to receive an improved gaming offering while improvements to the operatorâs desktop site are also in the pipeline.
âThis is very much the start,â Stuart Magowan, totesport.com head of development, said. âHorse-racing will always be our main focus and we will look to develop the offering further, but we also plan to introduce a full gaming product which will be the best out there,â he added.
Totesport.com became part of the Betfred Group in 2011 after Betfred owner Fred Done bought the previously state-owned operator in a deal worth around £265m.
