Betfair rolls out wide-ranging exchange app update
Single sign-on added to exchange for the first time as data visualisation and match statistics features also introduced
Betfair has rolled out a wide-ranging update to its flagship exchange app, the latest in a long line of recent upgrades to the operatorâs mobile product portfolio. Single sign-on has been added to the app for the first time with the introduction of casino and arcade tabs to the top of the screen, allowing customers to access their gaming accounts with one tap of the screen. Users are prompted to seelct either of the apps or the mobile web version of the products, depending on whether or not the partner apps have been downloaded. The exchange app is one of Betfairâs last to receive single sign-on after the feature was introduced to its fixed-odds sportsbook and gaming apps earlier on in the year. Betfair has also followed the likes of BetVictor and Ladbrokes in adding data visualisation and match statistics pages to its in-play markets, designed to inform bettors of changes in play and guide cash out decisions. A new quick-bet feature has been introduced which remembers a customerâs last bet and stake, carrying it over to another market and allowing customers to make the same make without re-entering any information. The update is the first Betfair has made to its exchange app since August but the latest in a tranche of upgrades made to its mobile product portfolio as the operator looks to cement its position as one of the strongest operators on the platform. A number of new apps have also been added to the range, contributing towards a 162% year-on-year increase in Q1 mobile revenue last month.
