Bingo Godz to get mobile relaunch next month

Bingo operator Gaming Realms is to relaunch its flagship Bingo Godz brand on the App Store next month after finding development on the platform to be âharder than anticipatedâ.
The firmâs native mobile app was pulled last month in favour of a HTML5 version which is currently in development and Simon Collins, commercial director at Gaming Realms, told sister publication eGaming Review that the next version would be much improved.
âWeâve spent the last few months really honing the whole experience and fixing it to make sure itâs exactly as we anticipated it at the get-go,â Collins said.
âWhat weâre trying to do is quite complicated with the Godz appearing in the middle of the screen on any kind of device, whether itâs tablet or mobile.â
âItâs not an easy thing to get right but itâs part of the reason we wanted to do it and to make sure we had something that we think is competitive and different in the market place.â
Gaming Realms launched Bingo Godz last September and backed the product with a UK, multi-channel advertising push costing the operator an undisclosed seven-figure sum.
Earlier this week Gaming Realms revealed that it had boosted its bingo portfolio with the £10.5m acquisition of Bueburra Holdings, owners of the Bingoport affiliate site.
