Ladbrokes rolls out ââindustry firstâ My Accas feature on mobile
New feature, hailed as a âstep changeâ by Ladbrokes, allows customers to track progress of accumulators in-runningÂ
Ladbrokes has rolled out a new feature dubbed âMy Accasâ to its sportsbook application in anticipation of the new Premier League football season, which starts tomorrow.
The feature serves as an accumulator bet tracker and displays a customerâs single-line football multiple bets on one screen, allowing them to see the status of the bets alongside live score updates.
My Accas replaces the traditional format of viewing unsettled accumulator bets and has been designed to provide bettors with more information regarding a betâs status, and Ladbrokesâ director of mobile and devices Andrew Bagguley hailing it as a âreal step changeâ.
âMy Accas is another industry-first for Ladbrokes on mobile, after the introduction of the fixed price yes/no coupon to digital platforms in the summer,â he said.
A market switch feature has also been added to the operatorâs mobile sportsbook, designed to make it easier for customers to build accumulator bets in the app while switching screens, while in-play markets have also been integrated onto the current bet screen, prompting customers to bet while checking the status of their bets.
Customers will also be refunded if one leg of a four-fold accumulator loses as part of a promotional offer to start the new season.
âThese developments have been built on the success of the live visualisations, enhanced scoreboards and timelines we introduced for football customers at the end of last season,â Bagguley added.
The addition is the latest in a number of upgrades made to Ladbrokesâ Mobenga mobile sportsbook ahead of both the World Cup and the new football season, and comes in the same week Ladbrokes revealed its mobile revenues had surpassed those from desktop in June.
