Colossus Bets launches mobile app
Pool betting provider takes its flagship offering onto iOS and signs Element Wave for marketing and analytics
Colossus Bets has launched its flagship football pools betting products onto iOS with a new app released last week.
The app allows customers to sign-up and bet on the same bets as the desktop site and offers the same fractional cash-out feature.
Customers can place their stake and sell a percentage of their ticket at any time, retaining a percentage of the winnings should the ticket go on to win.
The operator has signed up mobile engagement specialists Element Wave to provide personalised push notifications for the app and the firm will also handle Colossus Betsâ app analytics, including monitoring its mobile traffic and use.
The app launch ties-in with a World Cup promotional push that will see Colossus Bets offer up to £100m in prizes during the tournament, with a £10m Colossus or a £2m Pick 6 bet being made available for each day.
The app follows Colossus Betsâ launch last July with the operator signing-up former England footballer Michael Owen as a brand ambassador.
