Betfair âcycle of developmentâ continues as new apps released
New poker app joins operatorâs product portfolio, with others receiving cosmetic makeovers and new logos
Betfair has released a new iOS poker app and given others a cosmetic makeover, bringing them all under a more uniform look.
The new poker app offers players access to cash and speed games as well as a VIP club for eligible customers. The app has been optimised for both iPhone and iPad devices and includes links to Betfairâs complete suite of mobile apps.
Its existing live casino, arcade and bingo apps have been given a visual refresh and now all have similar logos, featuring Betfairâs distinctive arrows and the name of the product with a specific colour.
Betfairâs bingo app was the first to be updated last month, while its casino app was updated on 7 April to roll out other minor improvements.
Speaking to eGR Mobile Intelligence this morning, a Betfair spokesperson said the new release and design was part of the operatorâs âcycle of developmentâ.
It follows Betfair adding its new Price Rush product to its fixed-odds mobile sportsbook app late last month and other app developments, including the release of a betting insight app for Android devices on the Google Play store.
Last month Betfair CEO Breon Corcoran said during the firmâs Q3 conference call that the operator would âbe delighted to do other, more clever things on mobileâ, triggering speculation that it might make an acquisition in the space.
