Playtech going live with casino
Playtech makes its live casino products available on all mobile platforms
Playtech has launched its live casino games across all its mobile platforms. The software firm claims it is the only company that offers live games on all mobile devices, through both its native apps and the mobile web.
Aviv Nankin, Playtech’s Head of Live, said he was certain this would add to licensees bottom line. “As the mobile trend continues to grow the ability to tap into this market via both Native and HTML5 platforms provides operators with additional ways to attract and retain players.”
Playtech’s live casino launch is part of a major push into the mobile casino sector with Playtech also working on a number of casino products including a Roller-style B2B product for release in 2014.
It is also starting the rollout of its single sign-in casino and sports betting apps with all of its major clients moving onto the new apps over the next six months.
Gala Coral is the first Playtech licensee to launch with the single sign-in apps and Playtech CEO Mor Weizer said it would be a key driver for cross selling during the next 12 months.
â[Playtechâs new mobile gaming platform was] developed in close co-operation with Mobenga in order to ensure that the single sign-on will exist in mobile and we have a unique opportunity because for the first time we have the ability to have a real single sign-on between betting and gaming applications in the mobile environment,” Weizer said in an analyst call following the firm’s Q3 results.
