Q. What do you enjoy most about your job?
What I enjoy the most about my job are the challenges and the possibility of turning what seems impossible into the possible. Working for AstroPay is challenging and very rewarding at the same time. I’m amazed to see how fast we deliver new products and features for our consumers and merchants around the world. I’ve never seen in my career such a tight group of people working so passionately and supportively. Our company embraces diversity. I’m very happy here!Q. If you could give one piece of advice to a head of affiliates, what would it be?
Treat people in the same way you expect to be treated.Q. Who would play you in the movie about your life?
Russell Crowe. Gladiator is my all-time favourite movie. Waiting for Ridley Scott to release the second part.Q. What’s your karaoke song of choice?
I can cause many people severe ear injuries if they listen to me singing. But I would probably go with Take Me Home, Country Roads; with a couple of drinks in me.Q. Which one thing can’t you live without?
Swim shorts in summer and nice weather.
Q. Who would you most like to be stuck in an elevator with?
Mick Jagger.Q. Where would you time travel to and why?
To the origin of the world to see where we come from.Q. What is your favourite TV programme?
I don’t watch TV as I don’t have one, hehe. I only watch movies streaming through my PC.Q. What is your biggest guilty pleasure?
Sweet things, alfajores, custard, meringues.Q. If you won the lottery, what would you spend the money on?
On a BMW 328 Roadster – 1936. It’s a very unique car with limited units made.
Q. Name one place everyone should visit before they die.
Uruguay. It’s a small country with great people. He joined AstroPay in March 2020 as account manager. Since then, he has been dedicated to expanding AstroPay’s business across the world. He holds a degree in Law and an MBA from Universidad de Montevideo.
