Vita Media Group names new US chief
Michael Asselta to lead stateside operations for affiliate with two new brands set to go live in near future
Vita Media Group has appointed Michael Asselta as its new general manager for North America as the affiliate actions its global expansion plans.
Asselta joins from fellow affiliate Hastraffic, where he most recently served as chief sales officer from November 2019 until January 2022.
He previously served as Hastraffic director of European sales from July 2018 until his promotion.
In his new role as US GM, Asselta will be responsible for launching Vita Media Group’s US operations which include the debut of the Affilisearch network in the US.
Vita Media Group acquired Affilisearch in November 2021 and is now set to launch the product in the burgeoning US market.
Additionally, Asselta will be responsible for overseeing the introduction of Ekstrapoint.com to the US.
Asselta assumed the role in April and is currently based in the Danish capital of Copenhagen.

“Primarily, we are more than happy to see Ekstrapoint.com get introduced in the US as the first loyalty and reward platform in igaming. In the long run, we are looking forward to the introduction of our entire gaming portfolio to the US market,” he added.
