Better Collective boosts Sweden share with €3.8m Rekatochklart acquisition
Copenhagen-based affiliate buys sports betting tipster platform from Win&Fun Media ahead of rearranged Euro 2020
Better Collective has strengthened its position in the Swedish sports betting market by acquiring online sports betting media platform Rekatochklart.com for €3.8m.
Rekatochklart was founded in 2008 and is a leading Swedish online community where sports bettors and tipsters gather to share tips and analysis for upcoming sports events.
In 2020, the platform generated annual revenue of approximately €1.2m and operating earnings of approximately €900,000.
The purchase price was paid in cash at closing to parent company Win&Fun Media Ltd.
Better Collective will now consolidate the site into its group accounts and it will be managed by Better Collective’s Sweden division.
The former owners of Rekatochklart, Jens Carlsson and Ulrik Sandebäck, will continue in consultancy positions for Better Collective Sweden.
