Betfred launches cash-out in website upgrade
Operator partners with Chroma Sports to offer customers interactive horseracing cards in major site overhaul
Betfred installed an in-house developed cash-out facility and unveiled its Chroma Sports-powered interactive horseracing cards as part of a major website update released yesterday.
The operator’s website was down for approximately 15 hours to enable improvements to be made, and the firm said the downtime would enable it to launch additional products over the next few weeks.
“We delighted to offer a cash-out facility that has been developed in-house,” a spokesperson for the firm told eGaming Review. “Cash-out is just one of many exciting developments that are about to be rolled-out,” the spokesperson added.
Cash-out was joined by a new interactive race card product, including a race predictor, head-to-head results and course information, designed by Chroma Sports and its CEO Paddy O’Clery told eGR the firm was part of an extended partnership with Betfred.
“Our interactive race cards, built in partnership with PA Sport, enable Betfred to enrich their customer experience using our integrated iCard technology,” O’Clery.
“We’re looking forward to delivering many more new products and services with Betfred in the future,” he added.
Betfred’s launch of cash-out comes one week after UK-rival BetVictor launched its version of the popular in-play betting tool with the pair joining the likes of bet365, Ladbrokes, Betfair, Coral, Paddy Power in offering the now essential sportsbook functionality.
