Full Tilt to launch new rewards program
Operator says shift to Players Club will ensure "more players receive more rewards"
Full Tilt this morning revealed details of its new rewards program called Players Club featuring a new progressive jackpot, with the move aimed at rebalancing its ecosystem and attracting more casual players.
Full Tilt managing director Dominic Mansour (pictured) said the vast majority of players currently gain very little benefit from rewards schemes because they primarily reward players that “put in the most volume”.
“We are breaking that mould to ensure that more players receive more rewards and more entertainment than ever before,” Mansour said in a blog post on the Full Tilt website.
When launched, players will be able to choose from Full Tilt’s existing Edge program and its new Players Club, and the operator said at the heart of the Players Club was a new game called The Deal, which offers prizes from tickets to cash to a progressive jackpot that will start at $100,000.
“We’ve crafted the entire experience in such a way that if you’re an average player playing an average session, you’ll get a shot at that jackpot pretty much every single time you play,” Mansour said.
Full Tilt will also double the amount it gives away in free role tournaments, award players mystery prizes even if they only play a few times a week, plus daily added-money tournaments.
“We believe our decision to make these changes is in the best interests of the game and our players, will set Full Tilt apart from the competition, and will ultimately help balance the poker ecosystem,” Mansour added.
The news comes just weeks after Full Tilt announced it had removed seat selection and high stakes games from its cash game lobby as it looks to attract more casual players.
