A round-up of the latest launches and sign-ups in the egaming industry including NYX Gaming Group and BetConstruct
Egaming supplier BetConstruct has expanded its product range into eSports with the addition of eFootball to its sportsbook.
The new eFootball feature enables teams to compete using the EA Sports FIFA 16 game.
“BetConstruct are at the forefront of incorporating eSports into a supplier offering,” Matt Howard, BetConstruct’s head of sportsbook and trading operations, said.
“This addition demonstrates our commitment to the growing market of eSports,” he added.
NYX Gaming Group this week announced the launch of its proprietary games studio NextGen Gaming’s latest slots product Jackpot Jester Wild Nudge.
The new three-reel slot is a follow-up to the company’s popular Jackpot Jester 50,000 product and is available on desktop and mobile to all NYX OGS partners.
“Along with the Foxin’ Wins & Merlin’s Millions franchises, this second in the series of Jackpot Jester titles has been hugely anticpated by players and operators alike,” David Johnson, commercial director at NYX Gaming Group, said.
“We firmly expect Jackpot Jester Wild Nudge to build on the success of it’s predeccessor which has remained at the top of performance leaderboards since launch,” he added.
SBTech is to launch a range of new cash out features and live streaming capabilities with its operator partners during the third quarter of the year.
“With live-streaming and cashout, players can follow the action as it unfolds, changing their betting strategy accordingly,” Itai Zak, SBTech’s CEO, said.
“Not only does this encourage a wider outreach and high lifetime value, but it also gives players a real confidence boost,” he added.
Mobile casino firm LeoVegas took to the road this month with its sponsored racing driver Rodren Vella celebrating his win at the Anglesey Coastal Circuit heat of the Tegiwa Civic Cup.
The company’s celebrations continued when LeoVegas sponsored racer Alex Winther also completed the seven-day cross-Europe Modball Rally.
“Both the Civic Cup and Modball are fantastic events to be a part of and aligns with LeoVegas’ position as the most exciting way to play mobile games,” LeoVegas CEO Johan Styren said.

Daily fantasy sports (DFS) operator FanDuel has acquired sports analytics platform numberFire for an undisclosed fee.
FanDuel said numberFire uses proprietary statistics to “mine for unprecedented insights that predict player and team performance” which is then published on its website.
NumberFire’s analytics and tools are also available to sports fans through subscriptions and media companies through licensing.
California-based online horse race wagering operator WatchandWager.com has been awarded a license by the Washington Horse Racing Commission (WHRC) allowing it to take online wagers from players in the state.
Under the terms of its advance deposit wagering licence, WatchandWager said it has posted a Surety Bond to the state in order to protect player balances.
The operator said it had also agreed to pay source market fees to Emerald Downs, the state’s only thoroughbred racetrack.
Sportech has confirmed it has received a proposal from Toronto-based gaming and software supplier Contagious Gaming to acquire the firm in its entirety.
In a statement Sportech said an offer from Contagious Gaming, if made, would be above the London-based firm’s current share price of 62.63p as of 13 August.
The deal, if approved by Sportech shareholders, would compromise a majority in cash and the remaining balance in new Contagious Gaming shares.
