Q: Who is your business idol?
A: There are many to look up to, however [Amazon founder] Jeff Bezos for being able to innovate and always take the business to the next level. From a bookstore in his garage to changing the way we shop, they are constantly aiming for the next big thing, learning from their mistakes along the way.
Q: What is the best piece of advice you have ever been given?
A: Shut up and listen – from dealing with team members to negotiating a new deal, you get a lot further when you stop talking and listen to what it is people are saying to you and what it is they really need.
Q: If you could work for any other business, which would it be?
A: Sustainable agriculture, I’m passionate about the food we eat and the way it’s grown

A: I love horse riding; we have some beautiful countryside and beaches near where I live and it’s such a fantastic way to unwind and forget the daily/weekly challenges.
Q: What is your favourite book?
A: So many it’s hard to pick just one, but the list would have to include Lord of the Flies by William Golding; the novel began my passion for reading when at school.
Q: If you could have any super power for a day, what would it be?
A: The power to duplicate myself, there is so much I want to do and so little time in the day.
Q: Which one place would you most like to visit and why?
A: Alaska for the incredible scenery and variety of wildlife they have on offer.
Q: Which three people would you invite to your dream dinner party?
A: Tough one but I think, Ricky Gervais, John Oliver and Donald Trump at this moment in time, just because I’d love to get those three in a room together and watch what happened. I have a feeling it would be hilarious.
