A quickfire Q&A with William Hill's affiliate account manager

Q:Â Describe what it is like to work for William Hill in three words.
A: Fun, challenging, forward-thinking.
Q: What makes William Hill a great partner for affiliates?
A: First of all, at William Hill we go by a simple principle â your success is our success, literally.
Our affiliate programme is about Integrity, communication and expertise. We have a diverse list of products, strong brands and our commission models are designed to maximise our affiliatesâ income across the board. We value our clients, therefore their accounts are handled by professional, multi-lingual affiliate managers around the clock using advanced reporting techniques, real-time stats and cutting-edge marketing tools.
Q: What makes a good affiliate manager?
A: A combination of professionalism, interpersonal and analytical skills and motivation to learn and succeed. However, hands down, the most critical trait is the ability to understand the clientâs needs and make sure theyâre covered on time. Once youâve got that down comes managing, maintaining and optimising the clientsâ campaigns to the max, working in teams, reaching targets and so forth.
Q: Who is your business idol?
A: At this point, the person I learn the most from on a daily basis has to be my team leader, Dani Ziskind, who has just been promoted to HO Affiliation. From attention to detail to a sharp business sense, he just owns it. Also, I think it is great learning as much as you can from your teammates and from colleagues in other departments â you can learn something from anyone.
Q: If you could work in any other business, which would it be?
A: Probably event planning or something of this sort, Iâm very good at multi-tasking and getting things done quickly. Or being a makeup artist, Iâm good at that too.
Q: What is the best piece of advice youâve ever been given?
A: You attract what you believe you deserve.
Q: What is on the top of your bucket list?
A: Learning a new language and how to play drums.
Q: Which one place would you most like to visit and why?
A: Thailand. Iâm one of the few that havenât been there and I want to see what all the fuss is about. Plus I need a vacation.
Q: What is your favourite way to relax?
A: Watching TV at home with my family (my fiancé, our two dogs and two cats).
Q: What is your favourite book?
A: Iâm not a big book person, but one that got to me was White Oleander.
Q: If you could have any super power for a day, what would it be and why?
A: Mind control. I could get and change so many things to my advantage.
Q: Which three people would you invite to your dream dinner party?
A: Britney Spears, Iâve been a fan since I was 11 years old; Louis C.K., as for me he is the funniest comedian out there; and Michael Jackson, I would love to hear what really happened straight from him.
