PokerStars rolls casino products out across Europe
Operator launches slots in Spain as well as live casino in Italy and video poker in UK and EU markets
PokerStars has bolstered its online casino offering with the launch of slots in Spain and live casino in Italy as part of ongoing plans to broaden its market share in the vertical.
Stars said the launch of slots in Spain “significantly expands” the variety of games available to players who previously only had access to roulette and blackjack.
“Slots are the most popular game on PokerStars globally, and we are happy to now offer some of the most popular titles in the world to Spanish players,” Sam Hobcraft, PokerStars director of casino, said.
The rollout of live casino in Italy comes after a successful launch in the Spanish market earlier in the year after PokerStars struck a deal with supplier Evolution Gaming back in March.
The operator also announced the launch of video poker on desktop in dot.EU and dot.UK markets as well as its new HighHand blackjack game on mobile.
PokerStars said the launches had taken its total number of slots games to 87 on desktop and 16 on mobile.
Online casino revenues accounted for around 12% or £19m of total revenues during Q2.
