Intertain names Cornides as chief revenue officer
Ex-Mandalay Media MD takes charge of integrating the company's various brands in newly created role
Intertain Group has named former Mandalay Media managing director Irina Cornides as the new chief revenue officer of its Intertain Bahamas operating arm, eGaming Review has learned.
Cornides officially took up the newly created role on 1 November and is responsible for integrating the various companies acquired by Intertain and harnessing synergies across the group.
“I will focus on a number of projects to bring our companies closer together, identifying opportunities for growth, collaboration as well as cost savings,” Cornides told eGR.
“I am also working with the board on the medium- and long-term strategies for the group,” she added.
Intertain Bahamas was created last year to act as the operating arm of Intertain, and incorporate the firm’s Mandalay Media and Jackpotjoy assets. All operational decisions are made in the Bahamas, the company said.
Prior to her role as chief revenue officer at Intertain Bahamas, Cornides was MD of Costa Bingo owner Mandalay Media Group which was acquired by Intertain in June last year for £60m.
Cornides was also previously head of bingo for more than three years at bgo Entertainment and worked as direct marketing manager for PartyGaming from October 2004 until January 2007.
