Win Cash Live hires former Sky Bet mobile casino chief
Nicola Longmuir becomes operator's second senior appointment in as many months as she joins as director of gaming
Win Cash Live has hired former Sky Bet head of mobile casino Nicola Longmuir (pictured) to head-up the firm’s nascent gaming division, as the operator continues to build its Bournemouth-based senior management team.
Longmuir, who spent six years with Sky Bet until 2013, was also senior gaming contractor with Betfair until January 2015 and has since had two consulting roles with Coral and Odobo.
During her time at Sky Bet, Longmuir led the development and launch of the Sky Vegas mobile app as well as the integration of gaming content from more than 20 suppliers.
The appointment of Longmuir follows hot on the heels of the hire of former Betfair director Jim Supple, who joined the firm last month as COO.
The hires come after CEO Ashley Faull recently decided to relocate the firm from London to Bournemouth as part of wider plans to develop Win Cash Live into a fully-fledged multi-vertical operator.
“It is brilliant news for Win Cash Live that Nicola has agreed to join us as director of gaming,” Faull said. “Her wealth of gaming experience will really push us on to the next level and I’m sure her drive and vision will prove invaluable in the months and years ahead.
“It also goes to show that you can get top talent in Bournemouth – it feels like the area really has momentum building at the moment,” he added.
Win Cash Live, which operates on the OpenBet platform, recently hired marketing agency Mango Storm and media strategists Arena Media to put together a major marketing campaign which is due to get underway in the coming months.
