Lottoland Aus appoints new marketing director
Bet-on-lotteries operator hires William Hill’s Matthew Brinckley to lead marketing strategy of Australia-facing business
Lottoland has appointed William Hill Australia’s former head of commercial operations, Matthew Brinckley, as marketing director for the lottery firm’s Australia brand.
Brinckley, who officially started his new role last Monday, joins Lottoland after working at William Hill for a number of years, with previous roles including head of CRM & VIP operations and most recently head of commercial.
He also worked at Centrebet, prior to its acquisition by William Hill in 2013, as CRM and promotions manager, poker marketing manager and gaming VIP manager.
Luke Brill, managing director of Lottoland Australia, told EGR Brinckley was a “key hire” for the bet-on-lotteries operator which debuted in the Australian market earlier this year.
Playtech appoints egaming law expert Claire Milne to board
Playtech has appointed egaming and technology law expert Claire Milne to its board as an independent non-executive director.
Milne has more than 20 years’ experience advising gaming clients as an in-house and private lawyer, and was also previously chair of the Isle of Man Gambling Supervision Commission for five years until 2012.
She is currently a partner at Isle of Man-based law firm Appleby where she is team leader for the Intellectual Property and Science & Technology teams.

BoyleSports buys stores from liquidated-Hacketts
BoyleSports has acquired four stores from liquidated Irish bookmaker Hacketts and is still in the hunt to buy Ladbrokes-Coral shops ahead of the two firm’s proposed merger.
The Irish operator has reopened the outlets in Cashel (Co Tipperary), Callan (Co Kilkenny), Mountmellick (Co Laois) and Rathkeale (Co Limerick) – all rebranded as BoyleSports.
As part of BoyleSport’s ?4m, three-year innovation programme, the newly-acquired stores will include the installation of a suite of new screens and free wi-fi to enable customers to access its online products.
Multi-channel gaming company Reflex Gaming has announced the appointment of Mat Ingram to the newly created post of chief product officer (CPO).
Ingram has 20 years’ experience in the development of gaming products, including a number of roles at Inspired where he was most recently manging director of its interactive division.
“Mat spent over a decade at Inspired Gaming Group, most recently as managing director, Interactive and the experience gained with what is one of the world’s largest providers of server-based gaming machines, will prove invaluable,” Reflex managing director, Quentin Stott, said.
“His role is to consolidate and grow our healthy position in the traditional Reflex gaming markets but also, to drive the deployment of more content across the full range of gaming channels.”
