Swedish igaming veteran nominated to replace Christian Lundberg at affiliate's May AGM

Raketech has moved to appoint William Hill chief executive Ulrik Bengtsson as its new chairman. Current chairman Christian Lundberg has declined re-election as chairman of the board of directors, so Bengtsson has been nominated and will be appointed at an AGM on 17 May. Lundberg had held the position since 2017. His compatriot Bengtsson is an igaming veteran and joined William Hill in 2018 as chief digital officer before being appointed CEO in 2019, where he oversaw the £242m acquisition of Mr Green. Prior to that, he spent more than five years with Malta-based Betsson Group as CEO.
