Bojoko exec launches new affiliate trade body
Chief business officer Joonas Karhu unveils Professional Gambling Affiliates Association
Bojoko chief business officer Joonas Karhu is urging gambling affiliate firms to join his newly created trade body. Karhu has launched the Professional Gambling Affiliates Association (PGAA) to help improve the relationship between affiliates and operators and to create contractual security for the former. Karhu suggests there is no contractual security for affiliates in the gaming industry who are often “forced to sign agreements that are one-sided and subject to change at any time”. “This can see lifetime revenues slashed and fees increased with little to no notice,” he said. Bojoko will handle the initial communication between the PGAA and partnering operators and will also cover the legal costs associated with creating the PGAA contract.
