Online Gambling Quarterly: Which operators are primed for growth over the next 12 months?
OGQ asks a panel of experts and market insiders to predict the igaming winners and losers of the future
In its quarterly surveys, Online Gambling Quarterly asks a panel of experts and market insiders about the future ‘winners and losers’ in the egaming market.
In particular, the researchers ask the experts to estimate how the revenue of the key operators will develop over the next 12 months. In this quarter, 109 industry experts contributed to the survey.
In the most recent survey (summer 2020), bet365 and The Stars Group/Sky Betting & Gaming (now Flutter) are seen as the operators that will likely experience the largest revenue growth over the next 12 months.

After the drop of growth estimates at most companies in March, more or less all operators were able to recover in the June survey.
In March, the ‘non-betting’ operators such as LeoVegas, Videoslots and Lottoland were leading the future growth rankings.
Now, as sports betting resumes, the ranking looks again like those prepared in pre-Covid times, with bet365 back on top.
Bet365 also made the biggest leap up compared to the last survey, while 1xBet was included for the first time in the survey and immediately reached rank 11 (out of 27).
Last week, Online Gambling Quarterly revealed 47% of industry experts had a ‘good’ view of the online sector over the next 12 months as optimism returned following the worst of Covid-19.
