Authentic Gaming nets new COO

Authentic Gaming has appointed casino industry veteran Oliver Reid as its new chief operating officer.

In his new role as COO, Reid will be responsible for speeding up and enhancing Authentic’s customer onboarding process, bolstering the customer operations department and overseeing live casino studio expansion.

Reid will report to Authentic Gaming CEO Jonas Delin.

A veteran of the casino sector, Reid has most recently served as group analytics director for Olympic Entertainment Group and as head of online live dealer operations for live casino giant Evolution Gaming.

During his time at Evolution Gaming, Reid opened Evolution Gaming’s studios in Vancouver and New Jersey and led the supplier’s expansion into both markets.

Reid has also held operational roles with Rank Group, The Ritz, Ladbrokes Coral, Casinos Austria International and three years with Aspers Group.

Authentic Gaming CEO Delin welcomed the appointment of Reid in bolstering Authentic Gaming’s “incredibly strong” management team.

“Authentic Gaming has a ‘player first’ mentality and this, coupled with Oliver’s 20 years’ experience in land-based and online live table gaming operations, we will be ideally placed to further enhance and optimise the overall player experience,” said Delin.

Reid, meanwhile, said he was excited to return to the live casino sector.

“Operators and players are appreciating the entertainment experience live casino has to offer and I’m looking forward to supporting the growth strategies of online gaming for all of our partners,” he explained.
