Green Jade Games recruits new CCO from NetEnt
Mark Taffler moves across Malta to join Jesper Kärrbrink’s slots studio start-up
Green Jade Games has hired former NetEnt head of commercial Mark Taffler as its new CCO.
Taffler spent two-and-a-half years at NetEnt, first as regional business manager before being promoted to head of commercial in October 2019.
He will start at Green Jade on 27 April and will report into the slots studio’s co-founder and MD Benedict McDonagh.
Taffler – a Bournemouth University alumnus – has also worked for Samsung and Chelsea FC.
Green Jade Games was founded by former Mr Green chief executive Jesper Kärrbrink in 2017. He is currently creative director and chairman of the start-up.
According to its website, Green Jade’s Games “incorporate the best of centuries-old gambling games, the thrill of the greatest stories ever told and support the ability for the player to control the action and play it their way”.
The studio received significant financial backing from VC fund Vereeni Investments and brokerage firm RB Capital in November 2019.
