Former Mr Green and Svenska Spel CEO joins Swedish operator to spearhead US growth
Aspire Global has appointed former Mr Green chief executive Jesper Kärrbrink as chairman of games development subsidiary Pariplay with immediate effect.
Kärrbrink – who is also the chairman and creative director of games development company Green Jade Games – left Mr Green in the summer following its acquisition by William Hill.
A veteran of the industry, Kärrbrink has previously occupied several senior executive roles, including as CEO of former Swedish monopoly operator Svenska Spel from 2004 to 2008.

Aspire Global acquired the Pariplay brand in June 2019 at a cost of £11.7m.
Pariplay holds an egaming licence in New Jersey and the operator has previously stated its intention that the acquisition should serve as a springboard for expanding into the US market.
Speaking about the appointment, Aspire Global CEO Tsachi Maimon highlighted Kärrbrink’s extensive industry experience as well as his “deep knowledge” of European markets.
“We have high expectations for Pariplay as an important addition to our B2B business and as chairman Jesper will contribute to the refining of Pariplay’s strategy and in realising the full potential of our acquisition,” said Maimon.
