New York-based betting start-up promotes Francesco Borgosano from chief analytics officer
SimpleBet has promoted chief analytics officer Francesco Borgosano to the newly-created role of chief operating officer (COO).
Borgosano joined the New York-based B2B betting start-up in the analytics role from Swedish sportsbook supplier Kambi in November 2018.
Borgosano, who previously spent one year as head of sportsbook solutions at The Stars Group (TSG), begun the C-level role with SimpleBet at the beginning of July.

“We are thrilled to have him as our COO,” he added.
SimpleBet was co-founded in 2016 by Levy, Action X co-founder Scott Marshall and media tech investor Chris Bevilacqua.
The company aims to provide in-play and individual player prop pricing to US-facing operators through its machine learning-powered trading platform.
