‘Tinder of betting’ moves to new sportsbook platform
Swipe-to-bet app Bookee moves from existing platform onto EveryMatrix’s sportsbook
The so-called Tinder of betting, Bookee, has moved from its existing sportsbook platform onto EveryMatrix.
The swipe-to-bet app has been successfully migrated onto the OddsMatrix sportsbook, with the firm ultimately integrating the EveryMatrix payment, casino and affiliate solutions as well.
“This is an important step for the business,” said Adam Kalmanson, Bookee co-founder and head of marketing.
“We have proved that Bookee can operate in the UK, the toughest landscape in the industry.
“EveryMatrix is perfectly positioned to support Bookee and our goal to launch in multiple markets in the coming months and years”.
The product has been live in the UK for two years on an FSB platform and was nominated in the Start-Up category at this year’s EGR Marketing and Innovation awards.
Bookee said it changed suppliers in order to “pursue international markets in which FSB is not operating”.
“We have spoken to tens of thousands of customers over a six-month period and are incredibly proud of the product we have launched with what we see as a perfect partner,” added Adam Wilson, co-founder & head of product at Bookee.
“Building a product from scratch is exhilarating and as has been well documented, building a business in this industry can be a rollercoaster. To be in a position now where we can take Bookee to the next level is a testament to the amazing team we have and tireless work they put in.”
EveryMatrix CEO Ebbe Groes added: “Bookee started as the most basic of products but by adopting a lean approach to product development, they now have a product that stands out as something genuinely mobile, user-friendly and feature-rich, which is quite rare in this industry.”
