Dafabet extends Comtrade platform deal
Operator says partners will work on new features around multi-channel player relationships, product diversifications and entry into new markets
Dafabet has extended its platform supply deal with Comtrade Gaming through 2022, the two firms announced this morning.
The deal – first inked back in 2016 – will see Comtrade to supply its iCore complete backend solution to the Asia-facing operator.
Dafabet said the renewed partnership would also see the two companies working on new features around multi-channel player relationships, product diversifications and entry into new markets.
“Extending our contract with Comtrade Gaming was an easy choice to make because they continuously substantiate their technical expertise by delivering products that meet our priorities and standards,” said Dimitris Karatzas, CEO of Dafabet.
“Having a platform that supports zero downtime upgrades and unparalleled levels of stability allows us to focus on our business strategy, while Comtrade Gaming looks after the technology that supports it.”
Steven Valentine, Comtrade Gaming’s director of interactive added: “We are delighted to have signed a significant extension with Dafabet.
“Our partnership is very successful and working with one of the largest operators in Asia gives us great experience in a market that faces new challenges on a daily basis.
The extended deal is the first major announcement from Dafabet since the firm shut down its UK online casino product, saying it wanted to focus on sports betting.
