Matchbook extends 0% commission racing offer after 400% volume increase
Offer extended to cover the Grand National and the Punchestown Festival after “record” liquidity at Cheltenham
Matchbook has extended its 0% commission offer on al horseracing bets for another five weeks, after report “record” liquidity levels at Cheltenham.
The offer will now run to 28 April, covering both the Grand National and the Punchestown Festival next month.
“We want to keep encouraging customers to move over to the Matchbook Betting Exchange,” said Neil Campbell, Matchbook CMO, said.
“Those that did for the Cheltenham Festival not only paid 0% commission, but they also made 20% more profit when compared to the industry SP.”
The firm said it saw a 100% increase in bettors and a 400% increase in betting volume during Cheltenham.
“With liquidity at record levels Matchbook wants as many horse racing fans as possible to find out just how good exchange betting can be,” the firm said.
The exchange also addressed recent Betfair comments about a race to the bottom, saying it was confident “increased competition is better for everyone”.
