Unikrn poaches Tabcorp exec for COO role
Andrew Vouris to oversee esports betting platform’s real-money rollout across Europe in early 2018
Esports betting platform Unikrn has announced the appointment of Tabcorp’s deputy COO, Andrew Vouris, as its new COO.
Vouris will join Unikrn in February after ten years at Tabcorp, where most recently he oversaw the Australian firm’s retail and online channels.
At Unikrn, Vouris will lead wagering and gaming growth strategies, and oversee the company’s global team and four primary offices (in Seattle, Las Vegas, Sydney and Berlin).
He will report directly into Rahul Sood, Unikrn’s CEO.
Vouris said he first met the Unikrn team back in 2014, when Tabcorp agreed a partnership with the fir to develop an esports betting platform.
“Obviously, I fell in love with the team, the brand, the vision and the product — this company is the future, and I’m going to make sure we expose them to the world,” Vouris added.

“With UnikoinGold and our European expansion, we have a busy year ahead of us.”
In early 2018, Unikrn plans to launch a regulated betting operation across 80% of Europe, on the back of its recently acquired Malta Gaming License, with Vouris overseeing the rollout.
The UnikoinGold Crypto recently became the largest token sale in video games and esports ever.
