Pokerdom launches sportsbook product

Russian poker operator Pokerdom has launched a sportsbook product ahead of the 2018 World Cup in Russia.

The product integrates Armenian supplier Digitain’s platform, which offers odds on 65 sports, taking in 7,500 leagues, and over 3,000 betting markets.

Launched last week, the product will give Pokerdom’s players access to over 30,000 live events each month, including the forthcoming World Cup tournament.

Sergii Romanenko, head of sportsbook at Pokerdom, said: “Our players will now be able to benefit from a huge range of pre-game and in-play sports betting markets thanks to [Digitain’s] cutting-edge platform.”

Digitain CEO Suren Khachatryan added: “We have been working hard to forge new partnerships in different parts of the world, and Pokerdom represents the next step for us.

“We are very excited to have teamed up with the number one online poker site in the CIS to offer their players sports betting, and we can’t wait to see how business builds in the run-up to next year’s big tournament.”

Pokerdom is among the 10 largest poker rooms in the world, with over one million registered users.
