Global Gaming hires Betsson’s former platform chief
Mark Wadsworth joins the Ninja Casino-owner following a one-year stint leading Betsson’s Techsson gaming platform
Global Gaming has hired Betsson’s former head of platform, Mark Wadsworth, to lead the company’s recent expansion into Malta, it was announced today.
Wadsworth joins the Ninja Casino-owner as its new director of the Group’s companies in Malta, following nearly 18 months at Stockholm-listed operator Betsson.
During his time at Betsson, Wadsworth previously held the position of head of platform, working across 25 different casino brands with a team of 10 product owners.
He has worked in the gaming industry for more than 10 years after previously setting up Malta-based The Game Factory.
Wadsworth said: “I’m very excited to be joining Global Gaming, a company which places innovation at the heart of its operations.
“We have some special projects in the pipeline which I can’t wait to be involved with, in what is sure to be a very interesting period of growth for the company.”

Global Gaming’s Ninja Casino brand was named Innovative Start-up of the Year at the 2017 EGR Operator Marketing and Innovation Awards, and claimed In-house Innovation of the Year for Global Gaming at the 2017 EGR Nordics Awards.
