GalaBingo.com wins EGR Marketing and Innovation Awards’ Brand of the Year
Ladbrokes Coral brand scoops three awards with Ladbrokes, BetVictor, Mr Green and Colossus Bets also among the winners
GalaBingo.com topped the list of winners at yesterday’s EGR Marketing and Innovation Awards after taking home the headline Brand of the Year prize.
The Ladbrokes Coral-owned brand also came out top in the Bingo Marketing Campaign and Innovation in Bingo categories, in what was a successful afternoon for the operator.
In addition to Gala’s success, stablemate Ladbrokes took home the best Omni-Channel operator and Innovation in In-Play awards at the event held at the Hurlingham Club in London.
GalaBingo.com brand director Angus Nisbet said he was “delighted” with the three Gala wins.
“We are especially proud of winning Brand of the Year when you consider that we were up against some of the heavyweights from both the sports and gaming industry – this is a real coup for us at Gala Bingo and we will celebrate accordingly.
“We have worked really hard on the Gala Bingo ‘Play Happy’ brand proposition over the last three years and it’s a fantastic boost for the whole team that that hard work has been recognised by the judges,” he added.
And Nick Zajdel, Ladbrokes Coral omni-channel director said: We are delighted with the recognition for our innovation in the omni-channel and bet-in-play space. We believe that betting and gaming is leading the way in the omni-channel customer experience and so for us to win was especially thrilling.
“A big thank you to our teams and partners who have been instrumental on this journey – watch this space, much more to come in the near future,” he added.
Pool betting operator Colossus Bets also won two prizes after being recognised for Innovation in Sports Betting and Innovation of the Year while Mr Green was awarded the Personalized Marketing Campaign of the Year award.
“Receiving the award in such strong competition is a clear message from the industry that we are focusing on the right things for our players,” Mr Green CEO Jesper Karrbrink commented.
Elsewhere, Swedish operator Global Gaming picked up the Innovative Start-Up award for their slots product Ninja Casino.
COO of the group, Joacim Moller commented: “It’s nice to be recognised for a solution that is based on a new way of thinking, great team work and a series of good decisions.”
Sky Bet collected three awards for CRM campaign, Innovation in Football and Innovation in Casino, whilst Kindred was crowned the winner for Affiliate Marketing Campaign and Innovation in Poker.
