ITV to broadcast Inspired's virtual Grand National
Supplier’s virtual sports product will air on national TV for the first time this week prior to the live event at Aintree on Saturday
ITV will broadcast Inspired Gaming’s virtual Grand National this Friday, prior to the running of the iconic National Hunt race this weekend.
The Virtual Grand National 2017 TV show, which features the 40 declared runners and riders from the field, will air on ITV4 at 8pm on Friday and be repeated at 11.30am after The Opening Show on Saturday morning.
Highlights will also be featured on ITV’s first ever coverage of the Grand National.

“This project has been both a challenging and hugely rewarding one to work on with our partners,” Steve Rogers, chief commercial officer at Inspired, said.
“The end result is one of our most realistic and sophisticated Virtual Sports products to date, and I have no doubt that punters and viewers will be impressed by the quality and realism of the animation of the race.”
Virtual Grand National 2017, which is the result of an exclusive partnership with Carm Productions and The Jockey Club, will also coincide with the launch of new mobile slot game – Grand National Race of Champions.
