Rainbow Riches ends Starburst’s slots ranking dominance

SG Interactive’s Rainbow Riches surged to the top of iGaming Tracker’s slot ranking in March, usurping the NetEnt-developed Starburst – leader of the field since coverage began in November.

The ranking, which is calculated by measuring the exposure given to slots games by operators across desktop and mobile platforms in the UK, saw February’s top two titles switch places while NetEnt’s Gonzo’s Quest moved up four spots to secure third place.

And NetEnt also held fourth position as Wild Wild West: The Great Train Heist proved to be the second highest climber in March, having improved 78 places during the month.

Blueprint Gaming took fifth place as King Kong Cash climbed seven places, while NetEnt’s Joker Pro was up three spots to sixth.

The Rainbow Riches sequel, Pick and Mix, was next for SG Interactive in seventh while NetEnt’s fifth entry in the Top 10, Twin Spin, was up 10 places to eighth.

Play’n Go was the highest climber of the month with its Prissy Princess slot up 169 spots to ninth position, while SG Interactive’s Spartacus and Gladiator of Rome completed the Top 10 having jumped 17 places.

Games are ranked by their position throughout the month on 17 of the largest casino sites in the UK, with both mobile and desktop sites tracked.

Only the main page of the casinos is taken into account and the top 10 most prominent positions on those pages. Casino pages that are exclusive to a particular games supplier are excluded in the ranking.

The ranking is calculated as the total number of hours the game was in the top 10 positions throughout the month. Each casino page is tracked at least once every 24 hours.
