Bet365 maintains dominance in Oddschecker rankings
February figures show operator still has a healthy market share lead over Betfair with 18.4%, while Paddy Power comes out on top during Super Bowl LI
Bet365 maintained its dominance at the top of Oddschecker’s bet slip click rankings last month, as rival Paddy Power emerged victorious during a record-breaking Super Bowl LI.
The Stoke-based firm obtained an 18.4% market share in affiliate’s overall rankings, ahead of its main competitor Betfair which remained some distance off bet365 with 14.05%.

Betfair stablemate Paddy Power came third with 10.39% in a month that saw the brand top the charts in both the golf (14.66%) and the Super Bowl (15.28%).
The Irish bookmaker saw off competition from the likes of Sky Bet (11.67%), which was up two places compared to last year, and William Hill (11.56%), bet365 (11.51%) and Betfair (11.2%).
Most operators reported strong turnover for the Super Bowl 51 game between the New England Patriots and Atlanta Falcons, setting new records both pre-match and in-play.

“Paddy Power topped the rankings this year, similarly to last year primarily due to the fact that they offer such a wide range of markets and specials on the Super Bowl that other bookmakers don’t,” Oddschecker’s commercial analyst, Stephen Burt, told EGR Intel.
“Markets such as ‘Missed Extra Point’, ‘Successful 2 point conversion’ and ‘Super Bowl advert with most YouTube Views’ helped make Paddy Power the standout bookmaker for Super Bowl LI.”
Meanwhile, Paddy Power Betfair dominated the golf charts with Paddys and Betfair boasting market share of 14.66% and 12.95% respectively, ahead of bet365 (10.85%) and Coral (10.11%).
In the UK football rankings, Amaya’s BetStars brand entered the top 10 in February with a share of 2.68%, while Betfred also climbed one place into ninth.
