GVC seals Italy-facing slots deal with Yggdrasil
Eleven HTML5 games will initially be integrated into the operator’s bwin and Gioco Digitale sites
GVC’s Italy-facing bwin.it and Gioco Digitale brands have partnered with Yggdrasil Gaming to integrate the supplier’s video slots content.
The agreement will see the brand initially launch 11 HTML5 games, with bwin.it set to release titles including Dark Joker Rizes, Vikings Go Wild and Nirvana in Q2.
Commenting on the deal, CPO of GVC Holdings, Liron Snir, said: “Our mission is to offer our players the widest possible range of quality games.
“Yggdrasil titles have taken the market by storm and it is a great step for us to be able integrate this first-rate content into our Italian offer.”
Slots are integrated via iSENSE 2.0 HTML5 framework allowing for simultaneous launches on desktop and mobile. This is supported by in-game promotional tools, BOOST™, designed to increase engagement and retention via features.
The deal with GVC marks Yggdrasil’s first partnership in the Italian online gaming market, while the supplier said it plans to expand its footprint across Europe even further.
“This is the latest in a long line of big deals, and shows the progress we are making and just how desirable our games and in-game promotional tools have become,” Fredrik Elmqvist, CEO at Yggdrasil Gaming, said.
