Sky Bet socialises mobile betting with picture sharing functionality
Operator uses iOS Share Sheet to enable customers to easily share bets within WhatsApp and Facebook Messenger
Sky Betting & Gaming (SB&G) has unveiled a new feature enabling customers to easily share their bets with friends via popular social media channels and mobile messaging apps.
The latest iteration of the Sky Bet app allows punters to share screenshots taken within the app through the iOS native Share Sheet on platforms including WhatsApp and Facebook Messenger.
Customers are prompted by a screen pop-up and ‘share screenshot’ button that appears immediately once a screenshot has been taken anywhere within the app.
The feature is currently available via iOS-only but will also soon be integrated into Sky Bet’s Android product.
Stan James kicks off Kindred platform switch with bingo launch
Stan James Online has taken a major step towards integrating onto the Kindred Group platform with the recent launch of the brand owner’s Relax Gaming-powered bingo product.
The new online bingo site went live last Wednesday (8 March), ahead of an expected migration of Stan James Online onto the Stockholm-listed operator’s proprietary platform over the coming months.
Kindred Group’s Unibet brand was the first to go live with the Relax Gaming-powered solution in 2015, which was then later followed by both its Maria and Bingo.com brands.

Gaming Realms claims “world-first” with new skill-based game
Gaming Realms has launched a new in-house developed product the operator claims is the “world’s first” skill-based online gambling game.
The AIM-listed firm’s Magic Mine game will sit alongside other Slingo games, including Slingo Riches and Slingo Extreme, with similar rules and gameplay to its Match 3 product.
The game took approximately three years to develop, due to complexity of building artificial intelligence which could teach itself to play the game.
Intralot and Amelco to co-develop new sports betting platform
Intralot and Amelco have announced a new partnership that will see the providers team up to develop an omni-channel sports betting solution.
The project will see Intralot and Amelco’s technical teams working side by side to co-develop a product that combines the retail knowledge of Intralot with Amelco’s online sportsbook platform.
The product will be built upon Amelco’s core ATS sportsbook platform and integrated into Intralot’s retail lottery solution.
Mybet continues “complete product revamp” with new live casino
Mybet has announced plans to offer a full suite of Evolution live casino products, as the German operator looks to completely revamp its sportsbook and casino verticals.
The deal will see mybet offer Evolution’s Deutsches Roulette native-language table to its German-speaking markets, as well as the provider’s standard and VIP tables.
Licensed by Malta Gaming Authority (MGA), the extended mybet Live Casino product is expected to go live early in Q2 2017.
Dafabet eyes improved CRM with new back-end platform
Dafabet has completed the migration of its back-end onto a new platform provided by Comtrade Gaming.
The AsianLogic-owned operator said the new platform would offer “superior player management features”, including scalability for the highest player volumes and casino and betting product diversification.
Comtrade said the platform also provides real-time bonusing features and collects player data to “intelligently respond to individual consumer profiles”.
BetVictor unveils horseracing cash out ahead of Cheltenham
BetVictor has launched a new product in time for Cheltenham Festival, enabling customers to cash out on win and each-way outright singles and accumulators.
The Horse Racing Cash Out feature was developed in-house and also allows punters to cash out on both horseracing accumulator bets and a mix of horseracing bets with other sports.
The new feature, which is not available in-running, aims to tie in with its headline Cheltenham offer that awards customers who bet £10 to receive a £2 free bet on every race during the four-day Festival.
Matchbook trials revamped exchange
Matchbook has beta-launched a new version of its exchange, designed to offer customers more control over the site’s user interface.
The new product, now available on beta.matchbook.com, was made public earlier this month after several months of private testing.
One of the main additions to the site is a customisable layout, which enables players to toggle the amount of markets they see and the levels of liquidity per event.
Coral to stream Cheltenham races in live casino
Coral is to stream Cheltenham Festival races live via a rebranded live casino room, as the firm looks to tap into the cross-over between gaming and the iconic horseracing festival.
The Cheltenham Room will run for the duration of the four-day event and features dealers dressed in race goers outfits alongside racing expert Mark Grantham, who’ll be giving players up-to-the second updates on upcoming races.
The table will also offer special prizes and giveaways, including free bets to those who place bets on roulette numbers that correspond with the race card number of winning horses.
