Bodog has appointed Kris Marshall (pictured) as head of business intelligence, Marshall joins from Full Tilt Poker, where he was head analyst. Patrik Selin, chief executive of Bodog Europe and Bodog Poker Network, said: “Kris is another important part of the team we are building right now and given the momentum we have, we are continuing to drive our recruitment in many different sectors.”
Betfair is still the most popular sports betting website in the UK, according to data from internet intelligence service Hitwise, covering the six-month period to August 2010. Betfair led the way with 13.8% market share of total visits to UK-facing sports betting websites, ahead of Ladbrokes, with 9.9%, with Bet365 and William Hill Online tied for third on 9.3%.
Devilfish Gaming has suspended trading in its shares while it explores options for selling or restructuring the company. It said a further announcement will be made in due course.
WagerWorks has signed a deal to supply games to bookmaker Victor Chandler.
