Betfair has announced that its shares will be priced at £13 per share for its initial public offering with conditional trading already underway on the London Stock Exchange this morning. Based on the pricing, the total market capitalisation will be approximately £1.39bn. In early conditional trading shares were quoted at £15.25, a 17% premium to the IPO price. The shares will be admitted for trading on the main market of the London Stock Exchange on October 27.
French poker business Winamax has launched an iPhone App with the Apple store. The application, developed with Peer2me and SoixanteSeize, currently offers free play games as Apple has not authorised Winamax’s real money version. “Winamax has the approval of ARJEL allowing it to legally offer real money games on French territory,” said Canel Frichet, director general of Winamax. “However, Apple does not allow our version of the application for real money. We hope they will revise their policy on regulated markets, and players will soon be able to enjoy it.”
Microgaming has launched an enhanced version of its bingo platform with new features including a one click ticket purchase and easier access to side games.
Intralot Italia has introduced new Videolottery operations under the new Royale brand in some of its points of sale. The new Royale network, which is directly managed by Intralot, will be located in Rome, Milan, Torino and Brindisi.

Paddy Power has launched an iPad App through the Apple store. The iPad App is the third downloadable mobile application that Paddy Power has launched this year, following an Android App which was launched last week. The Apps were developed by Mobenga.
