Chilipoker becomes first poker site to integrate system with social media allowing players to make last-longer bets and sell action.
p> ChiliPoker has become the first online poker room to integrate its system with social media sites such as Facebook and Twitter. Players will be able to connect their poker accounts with their social media accounts, enabling them to challenge friends to games, make last-longer bets, and sell percentages of their action. According to the Chilipoker blog, the innovation is currently being made available on the dot.com platform only, but is set to move to the dot.fr site in due course. The site “ part of Playtech’s iPoker network “ is expected to make an official announcement later today.
Betfair has agreed a corporate partnership deal with the Queensland Rugby Union, which is set to last two years. The deal, which comprises grass signage and advertising at home games involving the Queensland Reds rugby team, comes after the Gibraltar-licensed betting exchange signed a deal with Australia’s Super Rugby competition. Separately, Betfair has also announced an increase to its Asian handicap offering, which now offers 49 betting lines.
Intralot‘s iGEM gaming system has been approved for use in Peru, making the company the first to receive such a licence in the South American country. The monitoring system, which supports slot machines, currently operates in several other countries including Romania and New Zealand.
