News in brief: Viaden receives Isle of Man licence; French rugby
Viaden has been granted an Isle of Man gaming licence, and signed a deal with Paddy Power.
p Viaden has received its Isle of Man gaming licence this week and has wasted no time in landing an agreement with Paddy Power to provide the Irish operator with mobile and online games content. Viaden games will launch on PaddyPowerGames.com in March, with the developer hoping its Isle of Man license will appeal to a number of other British operators. “It’s all happening quite quickly. We are now licensed in the Isle of Man and will launch there this month, while we have secured the Paddy Power deal and will be able to announce another deal very soon,” said Heather Baker, Viaden’s UK spokesperson.
Today marks the deadline for operators bidding for the rights to broadcast French rugby games. The French National Rugby League (LNR) had announced in January that bidders could make offers for the games they wished to show. Unibet, BetClic and La Francaise des Jeux have been suggested as possible bidders.
