Playtech close to acquiring casino games provider Ash Gaming for undisclosed amount, eGaming Review has learned.
Playtech is in the final stages to acquire casino games provider Ash Gaming for an undisclosed amount, eGaming Review has learned.
A source close to the deal told eGaming Review the deal was in its “final stages” but refused to comment further.
When contacted a senior member of Ash Gaming refused to deny a deal was being done. A Playtech spokesman declined to comment.
Ash Gaming is on the Playtech-owned Gaming Technology Solutions (GTS) EdGE platform with GTS providing a number of its clients with several of Ash’s top performing games.
Playtech acquired casino games developer GTS in late 2009 for an initial 10.8m with a further consideration of up to 21.6m based on the future performance of the business.
The news comes just hours after talks between UK bookmaker Ladbrokes and 888 broke down following four months of discussions.
Ash Gaming was established in 2000 and is one of the industry’s leading suppliers entirely dedicated to interactive gambling and betting games. Its clients include 888, Virgin Games, William Hill, Gala Casino, and Betfred Bingo.
Ash Gaming is based in London and has a full time staff of around 30 employees.
Some of its highest performing slot games include Alice’s Wonderland, Madness: House of Fun and Sensible Soccer. Its products are offered in up to 38 languages. Alice’s Wonderland is one of Betfair and Paddy Power’s top performing slots.
