TV's Dragon's Den judge Doug Richard has been confirmed as a speaker at this year's EGR Live, eGaming Review's two-day event for operators.
TV’s Dragon’s Den judge Doug Richard has been confirmed as a speaker at this year’s EGR Live, eGaming Review‘s two-day event for operators.
Richard, who appeared in the first and second series of BBC2’s TV show Dragon’s Den, is the founder and vice-chairman of technology investment fund Cambridge Angels.
Between 1996 and 2000 he was president and chief executive of Micrografx, a US publicly quoted software company which he sold to Corel Corporation in 2000, and before that founded and later sold the Visual Software and ITAL Computers businesses.
As reported on EGRmagazine.com, EGR Live will be attended by 1,200 egaming delegates ranging from chief executives and managing directors to senior management and executives, and is free to attend.
The event will feature conference sessions, workshops and products and service displays, plus a networking events ranging from breakfast briefings to afternoon cocktail parties, and will take place on 30 November and 1 December at the same venue as the eGaming Review Awards, which are being held in London’s Billingsgate Market for the first time.
The Awards, which take place on the evening of the first day of EGR Live, will take on a new format this year, with the award ceremony taking place in the main theatre before the dinner, followed by a party in the Old Billingsgate vaults.
