Desmond papers Daily Express, Star launch auction games
Northern & Shell, the publisher behind UK newspapers including the Daily Express and Daily Star owned by tycoon Richard Desmond, has signed a deal with auction game business Flutteroo to launch auction games on it Star and Express websites from next month.

Flutteroo, which is based in west London, will provide the website architecture for the games, which will be branded as Daily Star/ Express, which Northern & Shell will promote on its Express and Star sites and in the newspapers themselves
A marketing campaign begins this week
Northern & Shell is owned by British tycoon Richard Desmond, and runs four UK national newspapers as well as consumer magazines including OK and a range of pornographic television channels. It also holds 50% stakes in two newspapers in the Republic of Ireland
As reported on EGRmagazine.com the publisher behind UK newspapers the Daily Mail and Metro Norther & Shell rival Associated Newspapers signed a deal with Blue Square and mobile specialist Mkodo to lauch a Metro mobile betting product recently, and also formed a tie with online cash trivia business Amuso earlier in the year
