TAIN, THE SOFTWARE DEVELOPER under new management since the sale of the Expekt sportsbook to the Mangas Gaming Group, has launched a new sportsbook with Oddsmatrix.
The Maltese-licensed white label sportsbook will provide Tain poker and casino clients with a managed sportsbetting product. Tain has its own proprietary gaming infrastructure platform called Tain Commons Platform (TCP), the OddsMatrix sportsbook will be integrated into the platform.
As reported on EGRmagazine.com, Christer Fahlstedt, chief executive for Athletico Nordic, the holding company that owned Expekt, Tain, Score 24 and iClear, began as the Tain Group’s new chief executive last month, taking over from Roberto Savio, who joined Cake as vice president of sales.
Fahlstedt said: “With the poker industry currently undergoing significant changes it is increasingly important for operators to have a full range product offering. A sportsbook is an additional customer acquisition and retention tool as well as another route to new markets.”
Tain products include TCP and the Tain Payment Gateway (TPG). Seventeen operators use the Tain TCP/TPG systems, inlcuding Expekt.
OddsMatrix was founded early last year and is part of the EveryMatrix group of companies that includes GamMatrix, a gaming management system, and BanaMatrix, a banner management and marketing solution. Clients include new Power 50 entrant Chili Gaming.
