Mangas bags 888 EMEA growth market exec
Mangas Gaming, France's biggest online sports betting and gaming group and the seventh-placed operator in this year's Power 50, has hired 888's vice president for growth markets Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA), Tarquin Henderson.
MANGAS GAMING, FRANCE’S biggest online sports betting and gaming group, has hired 888’s vice president for growth markets Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA), Tarquin Henderson.
Mangas Gaming, which is headed by Isabelle Parize, entered the Power 50 leading operators this year in seventh place due to the scale it has accumulated after recent deals including acquiring Scandinavia’s Expekt, central Europe-focused operator Bet-at-home, and a 75% stake in Betclick, one of the six businesses shortlisted for Operator of the Year 2009 at the EGR Awards.
Henderson joins the business as chief marketing officer, completing Mangas’ management line-up following the hire of Isabelle Andrès as chief financial officer and Céline Fronval as chief Legal Officer last month, and of Betclick chief executive Nicolas Béraud as chief operating officer, Juliette de la Noue as director of ethics and responsible gaming and Pierre Faucon as director of new content in Spring.
He leaves 888 after four years, where as well as VP for growth market, EMEA, he also held roles as regional director, EMEA, and offline marketing director, Europe. Prior to that Henderson was head of consumer planning content services at mobile phone network T-Mobile for 15 months, and held various roles at food group Nestle.
