Microgaming has launched Android Air as part of its mobile casino offering.
Microgaming has launched its Adobe-based Android Air application as part of its mobile casino offering.
Android Air is an Adobe Air based application available for use with tablets and smartphones running on Android. The platform comes with a starting package of eight of Microgaming’s casino games, with plans to deliver “at least” 20 or more between now and the end of the year, the company announced in a statement this morning.
In a similar way to the software and games supplier’s Viper casino software, players can upload new games and updates via WiFi rather than 3G.
Microgaming has also refreshed its back-end technology with games available via a new lobby and revamped banking and registration modules. The underlying architecture has also been updated and connection now links directly with the gaming server, allowing the company to use its suite of acquisition and retention tools including Bonus Balance, Player Grouping, Player Communication Manager and VPB, that allows instant trigger based messaging and promotions.
