Poll results: 888 to look elsewhere for new CEO
62% think Gibraltar-licensed operator will replace Gigi Levy with an external appointment, with a quarter expecting Brian Mattingley to take the reins.
Nearly two thirds of eGaming Review readers believe 888’s next CEO will come from outside the company, according to this week’s poll.
Despite deputy chairman Brian Mattingley presiding over record quarterly revenues, less than one quarter of voters (23%) believe he will be offered the position on a full-time basis.
Just 9% think another appointment from within is likely, but the majority (62%) expect the replacement for Gigi Levy, who announced plans to step down in April, to come from outside the company.
While recent revenue figures might give reasons for the operator to continue without a chief executive officer for the time being, less than 7% of voters think this will happen.
